What information we collect
Paying for goods and services: We do not hold your payment card details. Financial transactions take place directly and securely with our payment provider.
Retail Shop: We will only keep a record of the Digiland serial number of items you purchase from us to ascertain when you purchased a product and assist with any warranty claims. We will not collect any personal information from you.
Websites: When you place an order or set up an account through one of our Digigroup websites, we will collect your name, billing address, delivery address, contact details (including e-mail and telephone numbers), and password. We will also keep details of all of your orders.
Competitions and promotions: If you enter a competition or promotion we are running, Digigroup may ask you to provide your name, email address and home address.
Customer services: If you contact our customer services representatives, Digicare will ask you to provide your name, email address and home address and the reasons for contacting us. We will also collect information about the electronic device you are enquiring about.
Data Retention Periods
We will keep your information for the following periods of time:
Websites: When you set up an account through one of our Digigroup websites, we will retain your personal data for up to 5 years after your last order.
Competitions and promotions: If you enter a competition or promotion, we will delete your personal data as soon as we have completed the competition or promotion.
Customer services: If you contact our customer services representatives, we retain your personal data for six years.
How to opt out
If you have opted in to receiving marketing communications from us or you decide you no longer want us to keep the personal data we have for you, you can opt out at any time by:
- e-mailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org with the word "unsubscribe" in the subject line
- logging into your account (if you have created one) on the website and editing your account details.
